Partnership
makes sense to us
It’s one of our key strengths. We’ve found beautiful outcomes prevail when the least likely of partners find common ground and creativity pulls to the fore.
From landowners to high street businesses, national organisations to arts influencers, we seek meaningful, spirited engagement.
Recent partners include:
Lestari, Exeter-based environmental social sciences consultancy
Horner Farm, award-winning sustainable family farm in West Somerset
Let’s be bold!

“Stacked Wonky create some of the most incredible work we have ever seen. Both companies are so different but brilliant in their own right.”

National Youth Dance Company
In 2018, an unforeseen collaboration fortuitously sprung up between our organisations, forging a bond that persists to this day.
National Youth Dance Company 2024
NYDC had never recruited a dancer from West Somerset, so we discussed what might be done. In September 2023, Stacked Wonky’s Ernie Shorten successfully auditioned for the company under the steer of internationally renowned choreographer, Oona Doherty.
We Come Before You 2023
To celebrate NYDC’s 10th birthday, we were invited to perform We Come Before You at Sadler’s Wells for Culture Club members, staff and NYDC. Three standing ovations ensued, followed by tears of joy, a seriously cool party, Novacene, and an inspirational tour of the theatre.
Sadler’s Wells 2018
Our kids spent two days at Sadler’s Wells in London delivering a performance for NYDC “as a gift” and got a behind-the-scenes look at the premiere of “Used to be Blonde“.
Summer Academy 2018
NYDC members joined our Summer Academy, culminating in a riot of affection and respect for each other’s strengths.
Thoughout, ex-NYDC members have worked with us on professional projects and supported Summer Academies, carving a tangible path for West Somerset kids to follow in their footsteps.

While We Still Can
Imagine a dynamic, energised group of young people capable of addressing climate and ecological destruction, and all the feelings that arise because of this destruction. They harness creativity as a means to speak up and take action.
A group powered by youth, supported by experts, able to think big but act locally.
What you’ve got is, “While We Still Can”.
In partnership with Somerset Wildlife Trust, we’ve supported the genesis of such a group, composed of youngsters aged 8 to 18.
In November 2023, the group took its first action, opening an unusual pop-up shop on Porlock High Street called “Down To Zero”. Rather than sell anything, the shop was filled with 350 pieces of colourful single use plastic donated by villagers. Each visitor was encouraged to make a tailored pledge to break buying habits and reliance on single use plastics. In return, the group removed one piece of plastic from the shop. Six weeks later, the group received its 350th pledge and successfully became “plastic free”.
The group is taking further action in 2024 and is open to new members. Find out more
“The project has been a joyful learning experience exceeding everyone’s expectations. Clearly, young people are powerful influencers when it comes to the environment.”
